I haven't completely dropped off from the blogging world, see? Being at home a lot left me feeling rather uninspired about the whole make-up thing. I have been going for days without wearing any make-up on my face and when I do, I just did very simple looks because I have no one to impress here...
With micellar solution, you can say good bye to the intense rubbing/scrubbing make-up off your face. The first time I tried anything like this was a travel size version of Bioderma (which actually cost me more than this bottle of L'Oréal Paris Skin Perfection 3 in 1 Purifying Micellar Solution and they are exactly the same). So, if you want to try Bioderma but you are in a budget, I'd seriously urge you to give this a go instead.
Before, I've met micellar solution, I have sworn my love to cream cleanser (Particularly the "The Body Shop Vitamin E" one). However, once I have encounter this, I doubt I'd ever go back to that. I like how the solution looks and feels like water. It's unscented which gives a sense of cleanse to my cleansing routine. Previously, when I was using other cleansers, I always felt the need to wash my face again afterwards. Something that I don't feel whilst using micellar water as my face is left feeling really clean and I feel like the solution strips my face of all products which I like.
All you have to do is soak a cotton pad with the micellar solution and wipe your face with it. However, when it comes to your eyes area (where you have hard to remove products like waterproof mascara, you can just leave the cotton pad pressing around your eyes area for a couple of minutes and it will remove all your make-up).
I do think that L'Oréal Paris Skin Perfection 3 in 1 Purifying Micellar Solution is a great product and an amazing alternative to Bioderma. It is amazing how easily it removes my make-up, it doesn't irritates my skin nor does it dries out my skin. Overall I really can't fault this product but being the nit picker that I am, I have managed to find one thing that totally annoyed me which is where the product comes out. I just find it a little bit difficult to control how much product should come out as there is no stopper. So I have always find myself wasting some solution as some of it drips down the bottle. Other than that, I'm really happy with it and I'm already planning on repurchasing a new bottle as I'm not sure whether I'd be able to live without it.
You can get this from Boots for £3.33.
