Considering the fact that I really don't have anything to do at the moment because uni is over for the summer. I really should be blogging a lot more, nonetheless, I noticed that my last post was 5 days ago! Obviously, I'm unlikely to be a blogger that blog everyday because I'm such a slow typer...but I'm hoping that I can produce at least a post every 2 days. Well, here is me hoping anyway. I really want to know how some bloggers can post everyday! If you have any recommendation, please let me know.
Anyway, I'm quitting my jibber-jabber. Let get on with the product.
This palette has been my staple everyday product ever since I bought it. I have literally used it everyday that I wear makeup. I fell in love with it ever since Sandy from Absolute Beaut mentioned it on her blog. I always want to buy everything she mentions. This little palette comes into 2 different tones: Cool and Warm. I have decided to go to the Cool version because I just thought that the selection of shades were a lot prettier. It even have Lilium, which is probably the most talked about shade. Plus, I thought the selection of shades in the warm palette were a bit dark and too mature for my liking. Therefore, the Cool palette came home with me.
This Stila palette is very sleek, I mean, it's very little and shiny. You can literally take it around everywhere with you as it really doesn't take up that much space. Although, you don't actually need to take it around everywhere because with this cream blusher, you don't need to reapply it throughout the day because it is that long-lasting. It also comes with a giant mirror that is as big as the palette itself too, for that little touch-up during the day if you really need to. A couple little miffs I have with this palette is that one: I find it really hard to open when I have long nails (although, that might just be my uberly weak nails) and two: the actual blusher pans are quite tiny, I can barely swirl my stippling brush in there.
The Cool Palette comes with Cherry Blossom (limited edition), Lilium and Peony. All of these shades are very usable. Cherry Blossom is gorgeous for when I want to young and fresh looking rosy cheeks. Lilium is just beautiful for everyday wear. Peony is super pretty for when I want to create earthy tone to my face.
