Hello my lovelies!
First I have to apologise for my absence, I have been very ill for a week and whilst I was recovering, it happened to fall on the exam week. During my week at home, I managed to do quite a lot of online shopping. However, I bought this a while ago after reading Miss Makeup Magpie's review. I have been needing a new hair brush for a while after I melted my hair brush with my hair dryer...(anyone else done this?). For a while, I was thinking of getting the Tangle Teezer but because I have small hand, I just think that it would be difficult for me to hold it properly. So I decided to go with Michel Mercier instead.
I bought this brush from BeautyBay.com for £11.81, normally retailed for £14.95. They comes in 3 different colours for 3 different types of hair (Fine, Normal and Thick). The one I got is for normal hair even though I have quite thick hair, okay, I might have picked this one because my favourite colour is green... The handle is also very easy to hold and it hasn't slipped off my hand yet. Even when I'm in the shower.
I have been using this brush a lot for the past 3 weeks and I have to say that I'm loving it! I normally don't really bother to brush my hair before uni, mainly because it takes way too long and I'm lazy. However, with this brush, it's much easier to de-tangled all of my hair and I noticed that the brush doesn't collect as much hair (you know how sometimes you get like a lump of hair stuck in your brush? yeah, you don't really get that with this brush). It just leaves my hair looking uber sleek.
I have been using this brush whilst my hair is both wet and dry and I have to say that it works amazingly well in untangling every single knots in such a short period of time. I don't normally enjoy brushing my hair because I have very long hair so it takes forever and the knots just really hurt, so I just leave them to do their things. Sometimes I get other people to brush my hair for me but I have no volunteer for a while now. Therefore, this brush has served me very well. (It's a tough life being a single girl, huh?)
I have to give it to Michel Mercier for it design of this brush because it does everything it says. It untangled all my hair without any pain and it's easy to hold. This brush has exactly 428 bristles and at varied heights which helped to ease the pain from untangling all those little knots. Whilst using this brush, the bristles just feel like they are massaging my head! So good! Literally, the best brush I have ever used.
Overall, I would recommend this to anyone that is looking for a new hair brush to detangle all those knots or if you have had problem holding your Tangle Teezer or want a brush that you can use whilst your hair is wet. Although, I have to warn you that if you want to use this in the shower, it will collect a lot of water but you can shake the water out without any problem. This brush is so good that I'm sure even Rapunzel would love it too. Go buy it!
Have you tried this brush before?
