Hello there my lovely readers!

If you have been following my blog for a while you might remember that the end of last year I won a giveaway which included this little beauty; Lush Honey Bee Bath Bomb. However, since I recently just got back from my house at uni (which does not have a bath), I can finally tested this out. Although, I'm a little bit sad to see it goes because I liked having it by my bedside and getting occasional whiff of it every now and then.

Lush Honey Bee Bath Bomb

Lush says that this bath bomb shares the same scent as Honey I Washed the Kids soap but I will have to disagree here because I find this bath bomb smelling a lot more like vanilla. It's a very strong scent but I really like it. As for the grey and yellow stripes pattern on this bath bomb, I think it's to resemble the bee stripes, I find it to be a very simple and cute design. I think that Honey Bee is one of Lush's larger bath bomb, I think it's the same size as the Sex Bomb but Honey Bee is 5p cheaper!

Lush Honey Bee Bath Bomb

Seeing as this bath bomb is quite large, it does take about a minute or 2 to dissolve in the water, something that I don't really mind that much because I like to watch it fizzes around. I picked up the bath bomb whilst it was fizzing around to show the grey and yellow pattern inside of Honey Bee. Honey Bee turns the bath water bright yellow, although, not the most attractive bath colour ever (I'm not a fan of yellow) and I also noticed that it left some powdery residue at the bottom of the bath. However, I have to say that it really made my skin very soft and moisturising (I didn't need to moisturise after using this). I used this bath bomb as soon as I got home from long journey and it was amazing in helping me relax and de-stress, plus my feet appreciated it after all that journey and having frozen feet. Honey Bee left my skin smelling lovely for hours after too.

Overall, I would recommend this bath bomb if you want a simple long soak in a bath and you love creamy vanilla fragrance. I would repurchase Honey Bee in future, one to keep in my room and one to use.

Have you tried Honey Bee? What is your favourite Lush's product?
